Fantasy sports, on your own rules

Your league. Your rules. Not a platform's.

Set your own scoring, your own boosters, your own teams — nobody hands you a fixed ruleset. Works for a cricket club, a work league, or just a group of friends who are done arguing about points values in a WhatsApp group. Free for every manager to play. Always.

Why this exists

Fantasy sports usually means someone else's rules

The engine started as one cricket club's fantasy league, hardcoded — every rule change meant editing code and pushing a commit. Most fantasy platforms have the opposite problem: their scoring is fixed and no user can touch it at all. Neither should be how this works, whether you're running it for a club or a group of friends.

The usual way

  • Scoring rules are fixed by the platform — every league plays the same way
  • Boosters, if they exist at all, aren't yours to define
  • Built around one sport's one format, take it or leave it
  • Any real customization means a developer editing code, not a setting

The Pitchside way

  • Scoring is a config screen — start from a preset, adjust any point value
  • Boosters are a menu you toggle on, with your own limits and multipliers
  • As many teams and players as your league actually has
  • A real admin panel — no code, no commits, no waiting on a developer

How it works

From sign-up to your first gameweek

Create your league

Set it up in minutes — club, league, or just your group. Name, sport, timezone, and how your gameweeks run.

Configure scoring & boosters

Start from a preset and adjust any point value. Turn on the boosters you want, with your own limits.

Add teams & players

Bring in your rosters by hand, or import match data automatically if your league already scores on CricHeroes.

Managers play, free

Your members pick a squad each gameweek and follow the leaderboard — no entry fee, ever.

What you get

Everything the engine already does — now yours to configure

Scoring

Configurable point values

Runs, wickets, catches, strike-rate and economy bonuses — every value is a setting, with presets to start from.

Boosters

A menu, not a rewrite

Team multipliers, stat boosts, conditional gambles, head-to-head challenges — toggle on what fits your league.

Rosters

As many teams as you run

Not locked to two named teams — mark any of your teams as fantasy-eligible, however many you've got.

Admin

A real admin panel

League setup, scoring config, gameweek scheduling, and user management — no git commits required.

Data

Manual entry or auto-import

Enter results by hand from day one, or connect a CricHeroes import if your league already scores there.

Everywhere

Built mobile-first

Picking a squad, checking the leaderboard, reading a score breakdown — all designed for a phone first.

Pricing

One subscription for your whole league

You pay to run the platform. Your managers never pay to play — see why that distinction matters in Legal & Compliance.

Questions

A few more things organizers ask

What sports does this support today?
Built first for cricket — but the scoring and booster engine is config-driven rather than hardcoded to one sport, so it's designed to extend beyond cricket over time.
Do we need to use CricHeroes?
No — you can enter match results by hand from day one. A CricHeroes import is there if your league already scores on it.
Can we bring our own scoring rules?
Yes — start from a preset and adjust every point value and booster to match how your league already plays.
What happens if we change scoring rules mid-season?
Past gameweeks stay locked to whatever rules were active when they were scored. Changing a rule only affects gameweeks going forward — it never rewrites history.
